Maracutaia
"Maracutaia" é um objeto 3D estilizado que combina as formas e cores vibrantes do maracujá e da pitaya, criando uma fruta híbrida imaginária. A paleta de cores mescla os tons profundos do maracujá com o rosa vibrante da pitaya, resultando em uma peça única e cheia de personalidade. O que começou com uma piada terminou em uma Colab com minha amiga Luciana Lopes (@itsluuart), com ela fazendo a ilustração/Concept Art e eu com a parte 3D.

"Maracutaia" is a stylized 3D object that blends the shapes and vibrant colors of maracujá (passionfruit) and pitaya (dragon fruit), creating an imaginary hybrid fruit. The color palette mixes the deep hues of maracujá with the bright pink of pitaya, resulting in a unique, personality-filled piece. What started as a joke turned into a collab with my friend Luciana Lopes (@itsluuart)—she handled the illustration/concept art, while I took care of the 3D side.

My main goal with this piece was to recreate my friend Luciana Lopes’ (@itsluuart) art in a 3D form, while preserving the intensity of the colors, brushstroke marks, and, of course, the original shape
This piece started as a joke about the word ‘maracutaia’—which sounded like a mix of the fruits ‘maracujá’ (passionfruit) and ‘pitaya’ (dragon fruit). Ended up turning it into a collab!
